Claudia Nell Hawley, holds Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Claudia is coming to mental health as a second career after spending many years as a small business owner. Working alongside clients in her former career as a realtor, instilled in Claudia a deep empathy, and a sincere desire to serve couples, families and individuals in the journey through depression, anxiety, and trauma to healing, connection, and self-worth.
Claudia brings her core values of kindness, belief in the uniqueness of every individual and her commitment to human dignity as a foundation for every client relationship.
Claudia has experience as a crisis intervention volunteer and suicide intervention trainer. She is certified as a Prepare Enrich facilitator for couples and parents. She has had advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy and Gottman Method Level 1 training for couples therapy. Additionally she is in the process of training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) training. She holds advanced training certificates for Attachment-based Interventions for Couples in Crisis , Sex as a Safe Adventure: Helping Couples Connect Sexually through Emotional Focused Therapy, The Body Keeps the Score: Trauma Healing, Beck Institute: Essentials of CBT: The Beck Approach

In her free time, Claudia enjoys cooking for friends, capturing the beauty of Colorado with her camera, and spending time outdoors.
